This week, we are going to start with facts and end with a secret.
Facts on time management:
- 168 hours in a week
- 50ish hours working
- 56ish hours sleeping or attempting to do so
- 14ish hours eating/body maintenance
Working and personal care account for 120 hours of our 168-hour week. What are you doing with the other 48 hours or 6.8 hours per day? I encourage you to map out your week and instead of stating that you don’t have time to be active, state aloud that physical activity is not a priority.
Time is the most valuable resource. You’re not out of shape because you binged on cheese coneys last week. It is also not about the pizza or Game of Thrones marathon from last Sunday. In spite of what you think, you don’t need a specialized workout program.
You need to carve out consistent time from those ungoverned 48 hours, flip that attitude, and get to work.
Where do you spend your time?
Actions speak.
That’s the secret.
